KHOVOPOLY
In 2009, K. Hovnanian® Homes, one of the largest homebuilders in the country, celebrated its 50th Anniversary. To commemorate the occasion, Design 446 created a custom community trading game based on the classic game of Monopoly®. I designed the game board, title cards, community cards, money, and the box from scratch. A fellow artist sketched the game pieces and illustrated "Mr. Khov," while a team of copywriters and employees brainstormed community card actions. KHOVOPOLY was packaged within welcome baskets given to each new K. Hovnanian homebuyer. These days, KHOVOPOLY makes an occasional appearance as a collector's item on eBay.
